Download RedSn0w 0.9.14b2 on your Devise (Windows/Mac).
Then download the 5.1.1 IPSW file that is compatible with your device.
Make sure you know where you have your iOS 5.1.1 blobs, they should be in Cydia or on your Pc.
Put your Device in DFU mode.
Open the RedSn0w Device and go to extras.
You will then see the options for the SHSH blobs and you will see a button labeled ‘Stitch’
Click it and then when the window open click on IPSW button and choose the appropriate file.
In the blobs options choose ‘Local’ if your blobs are on your computer or click on Cydia if they are located in Cydia.
The files will be stitched together.
You will now have the firmware file for the iOS 5.1.1, cleverly Apple has discontinued to sing in iOS 5.1.1 but you will still be able to complete the downgrade.
In the Redsn0w software go back to the two pages and select Pwned DFU option, this will restore iTunes using the firmware. If you don’t do this step then you will get a 1600 error and you will not be able to use the app.
When you open iTunes it will be in recovery mode.
Click the option button and click on restore.
Select the iOS 5.1.1 file which will has a prefix of 13 numbers that are the ECID of the device.
Once restore is complete you will receive an error message, go to RedSn0w, extras and then click on ‘recovery fix’.
For the recovery to be initiated you will need to out the iPhone in DFU mode.
Once this recovery is completed your iOS will be changed from iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1.
